Are there any available free agents that you want? The top FA's all have some age or injury history with them, but freaking WOW, there are some big names left on the board.

Sure, they would love a huge contract, but at this stage it would be a prove it contract. Every team is waiting for an injury before calling these guys up, I say snag them now.

Give me...

Bosa (5 sacks, NFL leading 5 forced fumbles last year)

Diggs (85 catches 1000+ yards last year)

The full available list...

Slim pickens there and I don't see a guy that is going to be a difference maker, or push anyone (younger players mostly) to rise up. A lot of washed vets and no name depth players in there. Seattle has such a solid roster right now, insurance players can be picked up for a few games as the season progresses.

If Seattle didn't have a bunch of hungry WRs, I'd bring in No-E for a year in a Kupp like role, but the timing just isn't there and Kupp is still here.

I think we are fine where we are at. We have the right mix of veterans and youth we don't really need to do anything. Let our young guys continue to get reps and our older guys aren't really blocking any full time starters at the moment. Nice mix of depth across the board honestly with some pieces for insurance. But adding players like Diggs and Bosa, as good as they are don't really make sense unless they are out there and we get a major injury during training camp.

Spoon is priority. I'm sure JS has his finger on the pulse of all options but those FA vets don't need TC to learn the generic playbook being used this early. Get Spoon extended, re-evaluate cap... at that point it might possibly be worthwhile to make an MVS move as insurance.

It may be worthwhile now. I could be completely mistaken. Options may also be limited at that point (in a month), but it's hard to argue with the process JS followed last season and results thereafter. To me, cap is better spent on keeping our current superstars.

Yeah, not worrying much about "available" vets right now in FA. Usually if they are unsigned at this time of year there is a reason for it. Team looks pretty solid for me, so unless somebody has a FF reason to want someone signed, I don't understand the need. Get into camp, work the guys out and get to pre-season, then keep an eye out for any guys released from camp, but even with those, I'm not seeing anybody who really improves our team right now.
