Chris Clemons hunkered into his familiar pass-rushing stance. He uncoiled at the snap, planted on his left leg and quickly changed directions.

It was only one snap, and in the earliest drill of a midweek practice. But just having Clemons on the practice field – in his helmet and No. 91 jersey – was a needed step in getting the Seahawks’ sack leader in each of the past three seasons back where he belongs, and the team needs him: at the hybrid Leo end position.
