It appears that Sanders hasn’t been named #2 yet the #2 will be named at the end of the week and Stefanski was held out of the loop and didn’t know the trade was going down. If I was Stefanski I would hope to be fired he is one of the lowest paid HCs at $3.5million APY

It’s wild that Stefanski won’t answer whether Shedeur or Bailey Zappe will be qb2

I am guessing he will name Zappe the #2 and is just trying to have minimal drama through the week. At least Zappe has some NFL snaps. Sanders has to be as dumb as a box of rocks to not pick up enough of the offense to be a back up or run the practice squad by now it’s not rocket science

I wouldn’t be surprised if Jimmy Haslam orders that Sanders to be elevated to #2

Zappe being elevated means Sanders can’t dress for the game as the emergency 3rd. More than that, it sends a clear message that Zappe is seen as the better qb even though he couldn’t beat Chris Oladokun for the Chiefs practice squad.
