It really struck me after the 49ers game how quickly the Niner faithful turned on Colin Kaepernick and jim Harbaugh, calling for them to be dumped. I don't like them, and at first, the schadenfruede was great. But after a while, it got pathetic.

And then yesterday, I looked over on Orange Mane and Broncos Country, and it was the same thing, at best calling for Manning and Fox to be fired. At worst, calling for Elway to gut the entire team (in some cases, including their beloved Mr. Ed resigning himself).

I've been a fan of the Seahawks since my family moved to Seattle in '83, and it's been a tough haul. I don't know what my point is.. maybe just that it seems very ironic to me that we're being cast as bandwagon fans out here up to the game, but after the game, those same guys are the first ones to jump off their own team's wagon.

There's a vocal contingent on this forum that has a hard-on for a Bevell firing. It's really not much different here, even after wins.

When things go sour, some people always look for a fall guy. My work is like that, where guys are quick to throw someone under the bus to somehow fix a problem (and divert attention from the real problems). Peyton IS that team and getting rid of him is asking to go in to rebuild mode. That said, they would be wise to draft a quarterback or being in a FA to take the reigns soon.

Every team has their bandwagon, fair weather, going along for the ride fans. Get use to it, cause now you have that SB, you will see fans coming out of the woodwork, and they're the last to join the party and the first to bitch when shit goes wrong.

Although I don't personally like it, this is how some people handle things. Some of the people over there calling for things to be blown up may be the most dedicated, emotional, true fans of the team.

Not all humans act the same or react the same. When someone has so much of themselves invested in something, and then are let down so badly, they need to vent. This wanting to destroy what they love so much, may just be their way of dealing with it. Doesn't make them bandwagon fans.

Are there a lot of bandwagon fans that will drop their team when the first sign of adversity comes along? Sure there are, too many of them. These types may not be that person though.

I was surprised at the Wilson bashing the last couple weeks. Never thought I'd see that happen
