So, I go outside for some much needed fresh air....I have been sick for a week, indoors, bored....I sit down on the steps on the back entrance and I hear a hawk scream. I look up in the sky and there they are, two of them flying and screaming. I live in town and NEVER see hawks. This time of year, in the city, I hear Jays and Crows.

It was an omen. They flew by and I said "Go Hawks"

As for the matchups, I'd rather Pete gets to gameplan against John Fox than Belichick. Also, the weather is likely to be lousy, and Denver isn't physical enough to get into a fist fight in a snowstorm or rain.

Seattle is the best team left in the playoffs, the 49ers are 2nd best. If the Hawks get by the 49ers, they will be obvious favorites over Denver and New England. In fact, I think the HAwks would be favored even if they had to play in Denver or New England! That's how good the Hawks are. There biggest weakness is some aspects of the coaching. They are far too conservative and could use some help in playcalling.

I don't know about that, Denver is missing Von Miller and I believe a CB or Safety was just put on IR. There defense is suspect. So I'd say we have a very good shot at either DEN or NE.

Weird stories.

I was getting some blinds installed yesterday while I was at work. When I got home, I was overwhelmed. This guy didn't just install my blinds, he was an artist of window dressing fabrication. My home looks like Bill Gates would be proud.
