Any time Philly loses is a great day. F**k 'em. I stopped paying attention when it was 21 - 0. Checked the scores @ 8:00 and couldn't believe it. Thanks Dallas !

If I had to chose between the eagles losing and the Rams losing yesterday I would have said the eagles. We don't play eagles and so have no power to impact their record. The Rams can roll the table from here out ,but if they draw an L against us and we win out, we win the west.

Thank you Schotty. You are showing that you are worthy of the post.

I watched the entire game.

When Eagles were up 21-zip I thought it was a given.

As the game progressed, not so.

Tons of penalties....a couple or so questionable calls against the Eagles, I thought.

I always want the Cowbutts to lose....

It was entertaining to watch, though.

Doesn’t the Bucs win give Rams the third tie breaker over the Hawks if we both win out except for Hawks beating the Rams?

Both teams would be 14-3.

1. Split on head to head.
2. Both lost two division games. (Niners and each other)

3. Common opponents- Hawks lost to Bucs, Rams beat them.

Just confused on this comment, so looked it up.

Well, I guess we can’t know this percentage yet:

Divisional record:
If the head-to-head record is tied, the team with the best winning percentage in all games within the division is ranked highe

Rams still have Az twice
Hawks have Niners

All I know is that the Patriots, Broncos, and Rams are the best teams in football right now. And I found myself rooting for the cowboys.

In any other season this would be a nightmare, but instead I find myself unusually calm…

Yeah, that Cowboys win was awesome.

I had been reading this week about possible internal issues with the Eagles and how they might be on the verge of few losses, but I did not think it was the Cowboys who might start that.

Fun.

Of course I want to win the division and get the #1 seed. But for kick's sake, if we go 14-3 and finished tied with the Rams for the division, and they win the division, I'd be fine with the #5 seed and take it from there. We may even get a home playoff game at some point. And if, just for kicks again, we met the Rams in Sofi for the NFC championship, I don't at all fear playing in Sofi. I don't think that would be much of a deciding factor in the outcome of the game.

I had to spend time trying to explain to my wife why I wanted the "Green Team" to lose. I love her to death, but she'll never understand football.. 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️..

Edit: Fixed, I meant lose, not win🙄

It goes H2H score before common opponent. That means if the Hawks win by a mere field goal in the rematch Seattle would get the tie breaker bub

Where is that listed?

From NFL.com:

Two Clubs

  1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
  3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
  4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
  5. Strength of victory in all games.
  6. Strength of schedule in all games
  7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed in all games.
  8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed in all games.
  9. Best net points in common games.
  10. Best net points in all games.
  11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
  12. Coin toss

ETA: The Rams won the tie breaker at #5 last year, not because they had 1 more point in the common games.

The Rams won the tiebreaker for the NFC West division title over the Seahawks in 2024 because they had a higher strength of victory.

Both teams finished with a 10-7 record, and the first four tiebreakers were a draw: head-to-head record, division record, record against common opponents, and conference record. As the fifth tiebreaker, the Rams' victories came against teams that had a better combined win percentage than the Seahawks' opponents.
  • Tiebreakers analyzed: The Rams and Seahawks had identical records in the first four tiebreaker categories, which is why the tie went to the fifth criteria.
    • Head-to-head: Split 1-1
    • Division record: Both 4-2
    • Common opponents: Both 7-5
    • Conference record: Both 6-6
  • Strength of Victory: This is the combined record of the teams an opponent has beaten. The Rams' opponents had a better overall record, so the Rams won this tiebreaker.
