Didn't see the game so could be speaking out of my ass, but Philly has had a very simple schedule. Think only played 2 winning teams. How did the look today? Dominant or a weak opponent?
They looked mostly like they played a weak opponent, but it was interesting.

First half, they couldn't stop Houston's offense but were mostly effective offensively themselves (though their first drive was benefitted by refs missing two extremely obvious penalties). Second half, they were getting stopped offensively but their defense was better and Houston's offense would turn the ball over and give them short field opportunities to score.

So, Philly did not look great this game but they didn't look terrible either. They did just enough to let Houston shoot themselves in the foot, which Houston did.

I thought the Eagles actually looked like a very good team last night.

Maybe my expectations were too high but for facing a one-win team I thought they'd look better and not have it be so close until late.

They had no answer for Pierce and a team with more creative playcalling could have exploited that better than the Texans did.

Offensively, in the first half they kept getting into third and long situations and then consistently got out of it primarily due to Houston's secondary losing their assignments and then in the 2nd half, when Houston tightened up how they played third and medium to long, they had consecutive 3 and outs.

Mills throwing those awful INTs basically did the Texans in.

Overall, I thought they would impose their will and rather they basically stayed 'decent' until Houston gave them the game.

If Houston had actually played like a team trying to win and not one trying very hard not to lose in embarrassing fashion, this game could have ended very differently.
