I've always like Herbert since Oregon.
I haven't followed closely since he joined the Chargers, but would catch games when I could.
I remember a game in his second year, late in the season, chasing a playoff spot, and the dude was just balling out.
Just like now, his O line wasn't the best, and they were down and had to go for it every single fourth down. And he threw a first down every single time.
They still ended up losing, I don't remember the opponent.
I just remember he played his guts out.
Always thought if he had a better supporting cast he'd be a lot further in his career.
Do I have rose-colored glasses, or is he a clutch guy without the support?

Yeah that game was the final game of the season vs the Raiders it was absolutely nuts
