No word yet on who will replace OT Russell Okung on the 53 man squad.

EDIT: Currently down to only 23 offensive players on the 53 man roster.

Hooray! I love Brooks' potential. Have you ever noticed that people with really plain names have great success? Michael Brooks is a lock for the HOF!

Hmmmm....that was a short stay for Edwards. Why did they even bother? Seriously this is ridiculous. Sign someone, keep them a day, and then release them. Should have kept Brooks on in the first place.

They needed a TE for depth because Willson wasn't fully healthy. This would indicate to me that he's OK now, which is a good thing.

They are allowed to pay PS players whatever they want. I seriously think they have a deal with some of these guys to come onto the PS every couple weeks. That gives them a healthy paycheck every couple weeks and keeps them involved with what the team is doing. Then they just rotate them through over the course of the season.

yea im sure the Edwards did not mind the free paid vacation to Seattle. I'm sure he was hoping more but He probably does not mind.

Whew! I thought Brooks had a nice pre-season. It seems I remember him wreaking havoc in the backfield a few times and thought he might actually have a shot at making the 53 and was bummed when we released him. I'm glad he's back, but if Pete is willing to let him dangle obviously he may know more than me.

Its also like Brook's third time being release from the PS. And you have at least one fan freak out over it. Its all good. Brooks, apparently, isn't a Harper.
