I'm telling you guys, Drew Lock is going to take this job and run with it.

Drew Lock will have at least 4,500 passing yards, over 35 TDs and will lead us to an 11 win season.

Quote it, book it.

I’m glad he’s excited to be here. I think he’s in the minority though. Sorry but he’s not good and this organization won’t make him any better.

Spread those numbers over 4 years and I agree with you.

I am a Seahawks homer, and I am totally with ya! Lock's stat in play action was pretty good, if we could have good running game, watch out!

Go Hawks.

Who will have more passing yards, Lock or Lance?

Go Hawks.

His highlights look great. Some Fant highlights as well. I love love that he can throw from the pocket.

highlights can be misleading indeed. Maybe Pete can pair him with a great running back. Tweek him a little.

:2thumbs: Love the optimism, in the face of the unremitting sour grapes about the trade.

I'd be overjoyed if that as above actually happens, he will face competition for his spot and that perhaps could sharpen the steel.

Time alone will tell, and the always negative folks may be able to say I told you so, but perhaps not and the lights will come on for Lock.

"Great city"? I guess he hasn't been around downtown yet...one can presumably go from the airport to the stadium to the VMAC by taking just the right routes to avoid minimal ah, "disruption" from the homeless population.

Jer - what do we get if you're wrong? :)

Every damned city in the Good Ol' U.S.A. has it's share of "Homeless" folk, and just as many a$$holes who don't give a flying ratz Azz about the unfortunates that include HOMELESS VETERANS, So, what's your point Roland?? yeah, I didn't think ya had one. :141847_bnono:

Lock deserves the chance to compete, and he does have some strengths, but if the lights are going to come on for him he has a few bulbs to change. He DOES throw a nice ball and can run tough. How many times did the wrong guy catch the ball he threw?
I wish I knew we had someone good on the string that could be a big test for him to beat out.

Oh, Yay... I'm so pumped I can hardly stand it.
Can we trade him for Baker Mayfield?
