Back on topic please.

Take your Beefs to the Shack, this isn’t the place.

Y’all owe the OP an apology.
In fairness, the OP posted the article, but didn't direct the conversation by commenting on it or asking questions.

Regarding Dre and the chip on his shoulder, I just hope that can translate to the other teams we play.

From what I've read, there are three reasons why Dre'mont Jones feels disrespected. First, he was hoping for a contract extension all last year, and the Broncos decided not to extend him, despite his having had a pretty good year. (45 QB pressures. for 2022.) Second, it appears that after the season, the Broncos decided to let him walk. They didn't offer a contract or try to franchise tag him. (I worry a little about the Bronco GM's (George Paton) decison because he's a pretty good talent evaluator.) And third, the Broncos decided to sign Zach Allen instead. (Allen had a good year, but that's the only good one he's had, and still his 35 pressures are 10 fewer than Dre'mont.) So yes, he has legitimate grounds to feel disrespected.

Most athletes today use slang when trying to sound humble talking about money. But that's all this is, another athlete talking 'bout how he wasn't paid the correct amount of "respect". That's all most of them really care about.
LOLOLOL And of course you'd sign for peanuts because you'd be a "Good Ol Boy" for the team 'Rah Rah' because the big Money really isn't all that important, eh?
