If he had made the INT then fumbled and we recovered would it be a 1st down for us automatically. That is my assumption but I don’t know that is the rule for a fact.

Yes it would be 1st down Seahawks.
And it was definitely a catch. He comes down with posession, starts to to step, switches hands, and loses control. Catch and fumble.
