NFL Radio gives the Seahawks a lot of love. On their program, Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller ranked the Seahawks defensive personnel to be the 10th best in the NFL.
Yeah Kirwan seemed pretty tight with Pete and talked to him often on the show. I went to the store the other day and they were doing a team report on Seattle. Was a cool surprise with the timing of it. I like their show . They seem to be a fair judge of all the teams and you really dont notice preferential treatment.

I'll have to check that show out. Brotherman, we need to help you with your over-pixelated avatar on the double.

Also, Robert Turbin is the host of one of the radio shows, and he always gives the Seahawks a lot of attention.

There isn't much to cover here from a national media prospective. MacDonald is much different than Carroll and Holmgren. Both of our previous head coaches were, dare I say bombastic? Holmgren was an old school coach with a temper and a reputation of winning that proceeded him. He had two SuperBowls under his belt when coming to Seattle and he thrust the Packers back into the national spotlight. Carroll was considered one of THE best coaches in the NCAA. His teams had multiple national championships and were always a national powerhouse. The story of him making the jump to the NFL was huge news, not only because of him leaving for the NFL, but also the void now left at USC in addition to the incoming sanctions.

Mike MacDonald on the other hand is relatively unknown. He's a young coordinator with no HCing history, taking over for a team that struggled to get out of its own way the last few years. His personality is also far more lowkey than Pete's or Holmgren's. The personality on this Seahawk team also aren't as domineering as the LOB era, we just don't have the household names or star power that other teams have --- now I think that is going to change.

I think that several Seahawks are going to make a name for themselves and become a household name. Witherspoon is a nasty man that can do many different things on defense. He really is everything that we hoped Jamal Adams could be. I suspect to see him moved around the field a lot like Hamilton is in Baltimore. He already was used in that role, albeit more sparingly.

Boye Mafe showed a lot of potential and came on hot in the second year, I suspect that this year he's going to be a force to be reckoned with. DK Metcalf is probably Seattle's most well known name. If training camp reports are correct, I'm expecting a big year from him too.

There are a others that I think are going to take a leap this year, but I'll save that for another time. Even if Seattle has a worse record this year, I suspect that this is going to be a team that everyone hates playing against.

Really ? I didnt know it was all squirrelly. I will get to thinking on a replacement. I was going through an In Flames stage at the time and grabbed their cd cover pic. Thanks for letting me know. I'd solicit ideas, but with how often my posts include poo references, I'm a bit hesitant to ask 😄

Really nice post. And to think I blocked you years ago because I didn’t like your rebuttals to my UFO threads. See? Old dog new tricks.

I've put 3 'cleaner' .png images in a .zip folder with no password. They're not perfectly clean images as they've been converted from dirty .jpg files but they'll do for an avatar - assuming @DeSeahawk is happy to choose 1 of them.
