You sure wouldn’t be able to tell if you watch Inside Training Camp daily on NFL Network, or ESPN’s training camp coverage. Every day I watch, waiting for a morsel of coverage.

Nope.

They are too busy having their collective heads so far up the Chargers, Rams, Ravens, Packers, Bears, Cowboys (etc) collective asses it’s embarrassing.

This is a direct quote from NFL Network on their Inside Training Camp promo…

“NFL Network has you covered with insider access across all 32 teams… all day, every day.”

Really? Are we sure about that?

Let me correct that…

“NFL Network has you covered with insider access across all the same 10 teams only we care about… all day, every day.”

I think it’s time to post the Seattle Seahawks photo on a milk carton and Missing flyers and post them around the studio of NFL Network and ESPN.

It's all about ratings, and currently, the Hawks aren't a big enough draw to attract a lot of attention from the media, although I'm surprised that they'd be covering the Rams and Chargers as they're not very popular teams with huge fan bases.

I had it on in the background for awhile one day and they had someone who had a Seahawks background as if he was reporting from Seattle but the only time I heard him speak was to discuss a different team.

It doesn’t surprise me at all though.

At this point, all NFL coverage should just be called "Jets and Cowboys Report."

One other thing of note, NFL network has cleaned house and has a lot less reporters working there. They will put the remaining reporters in the most popular places, but at some point will make it up to southern Alaska.

This isn't surprising to me at all. The Seahawks are not a major market compared to those other teams.

The media is all about making money, no matter what the subject. Until the Seahawks prove they are contenders its going to be that way. Is it right? Well no... but it's the way it's always been.,

I have little respect for national media anyway as they have a understanding that is based off of basic, information mixed with opinion that is based off of incomplete information

This is just my opinion.

I'd look in Israel. It looks like there's something written in Hebrew where the numbers should be on the front of the jersey.
As I currently live in Israel, this gave me a laugh. It does resemble a 'ch' (the hard kh sound similar to clearing your throat) and a d if you read from right to left. I can say for (almost) sure though...there are no other Hawk fans to see here.

Seems it has always been this way except for the few years under Holmgren and Pete that they had no other choice.

I don't let myself get worked up about this stuff anymore (the only thing that matters is wins/losses on the field)...but I did see a tweet that said EVERY single one of Seattle's draft picks this year was made during a commercial break. That managed to piss me off.

I would like a two week moratorium on Cowboys news. Just once. They could cover all 31 other teams in the time they devote to Dallas.

I'd even be OK with just actual news being reported - Dak or Parsons signs their contract, etc. But enough with the hours and hours of speculation and analysis of what Jerry Jones MIGHT do and if Dak REALLY deserves it, or should Dak try to go to another team. etc etc etc.

Couldn't agree more. Less cowboy is a good thing.

The cowboys will not win anything of meaning until Jerry retires, or dies. (Both will probably happen on the same day,)

Seahawks

Star Power, very little as far as the league see's it with players.

Well known owner, we have one of the least visible in the league.

Big name Coach, not yet and he is low key, not like Holmgren or Pete.

Controversy - Nope we have no big QB battle, no players that are known as media darlings, no player that ruffles the league feathers.

History, ahh here we go, historically when our team comes up via the draft, Sunday Highlights, Monday Night Highlights, it's commercial break time.

Todd, you know by now if we are not kicking the door down by beating up on the Blessed teams in the league who leave cupping marks on Goodells ass from kissing it we don't get coverage. :)

We're coming off back to back 9-8 seasons, dont have any players who would be widely recognized walking around outside the PNW, and lack nationally-interesting storylines. Our most popular player is probably DK and he's not the type to make headlines off the field. We aren't giving them much to work with.

There are 32 teams in this league alone and the main goal of the networks is to make money. If I was in charge, I wouldn't put all that much focus on us yet either.

The disrespect is so bad, I see Denver fans on YouTube guaranteeing a win vs us week 1. Even starting a rookie or a mid backup qb.
