The two fingered two gun salute for first down? Cost Tampa fifteen yards and a weird conversation about whether it was first and goal or first and ten?
I flipped over to the panthers game to see a panthers player make almost the same gesture over a nice first down and it was not called or even noticed by anyone even though the highlight ended zoomed right on the player as he made the one finger two gun salute.
Then in our game Tyler just made a nice catch for a first down and after he slid untouched he hopped up and hit the one finger one gun first down point move and again no penalty….?
So is it the double barrel gun that we are worried about or is it if you use two hands so it looks like your playing call of duty?
And honestly when the Tampa bay player did it it looked like you could see on his face that he knew he was screwing up and he tried to make it look like he was just pointing but we all knew he was pointing an assault rifle…
