Wow, this is really impressive. Punter and gunner working together to snag the next muffed punt. I've never given it much thought how they might be working together like this.
I remember watching the game and seeing Young overrun the first muffed punt a bit, and then there he was, anticipating the second one. Just incredible!

When their returner muffed the first one, my friend said “why didn’t Young just stand in front of him? He would’ve got the ball!”

And sure enough, next opportunity, Young stood in front of him. It’s great how knowledgeable we as fans are, and shows the true power of 12 as 1!

That was one of several Canton punts by Dickson this year. His contributions to our Super Bowl run should not be overlooked.

He's also the guy with the most tenure on this roster (drafted in 2018), along with Jarran Reed, whom I'd actually forgotten was on the roster.

Pretty sure it's to down the ball if the returner lets it go... 2nd one I thought he just didn't get to the scene before the ball was muffed and was at the right place at the right time.
