Seattle would actually be able to run on Detroit, IMO. Dallas runs inside, almost exclusively, right into Detroits strength. Seattle runs from all angles, with lots of cutback lanes created.

Its not rocket science; Dallas's only strength is their OL. Detroit has a good DL and specifically an all-pro right where Dallas likes to run. If people actually took time to think they'd be on a roll like me also. I'm a crackhead not a rocket physician.
I fear no team against our Hawks. Doesn't mean we will the Owl, but we will be close in every game as we always are. We have an excellent chance to win the whole thing though, that's for sure.

Stafford can do absolutely everything. I wouldn't take any QB over him except Rodgers.

Coming from a guy who has Clipboard Jesus as his avatar, me thinks you are mistaken.

I would take Russell over Stafford everyday and twice on Sunday's especially.
Wilson is great, especially for this team.

Stafford is better.

Translation: In my very limited sample size of watching Matt 0-17 Stafford throw to wide open receivers, I am willing to make dumb general pronouncements.

I live in Michigan. My sample size is not limited.

Because I'm a stuck record, here's my weekly reminder that every offensive line in the NFL -- even Dallas' vaunted collection of stars -- has trouble defending the increasing number of athletes playing defense in the league and there's nothing you can do when a team constantly blitzes and your QB doesn't counter pre-snap.

Let's remember this next time Seattle's O-line doesn't pitch a shut out.

(And no, I'm not saying Seattle has an elite pass pro O-line. I'm saying that every team has trouble, and at least we have an elite run blocking line.)

Ugh...Conflicting game for me. I HATE the Cowturds but I live in Michigan and DO NOT want Detroit to play the Hawks next week. It will be a miserable day for me. Literally.
Same here, but I'm excited for it. I'm going to be wearing my Hawks gear everywhere this week.

Would have to be. Otherwise you'd have to admit he goes more hot and cold than a broken faucet.

Either that, or you just suck at evaluation. Which, given your former stance on Whitehurst is probably more accurate.

Troy is just ready to explode.

"You can be sure that the Cowboys know where he is at all times so someone can put a big hit on him" (Tate)

It is like Troy's game as a Cowboys fan and he wants to slip in his Cowboys propaganda.

The Cowboys should go back to the old Landry O Line "up in unison..set..hike". That always looked cool and the Detroit meat wagons would jump offsides 13 times

He's inconsistent, but at his best, he does everything great. Elite talent.

Detroit is obviously better than Carolina, but Detroit doesn't really match up that well with our defense. They have a hard time running the ball efficiently (29th in Rush DVOA). Their backs excel catching passes in the screen game, which our rested defense will eat up as usual. They can't threaten down the seam with TEs either. That leaves trying to go over the top of the secondary (bad idea) or the slant game, which Wagner and Kam will eat up.

I think Seattle can grind out yards on offense in the run game (1st in Rushing DVOA, even going against the 1st-place Run Defense team by DVOA) and use that to run play action and buy Russell Wilson more time. Tough matchup, but one Seattle should win unless Stafford has a transcendent game against us like in 2012 AND the gameplan drops Wilson back too much instead of relying on the run.

You probably get a lot of weird looks in a Matthew Stafford Seahawks jersey.

Your definition of elite is erroneous, then.

I usually stick with my CBJ one.

Hawks fans are deluding themselves if they think Lions are going to cool off just because they come into the Clink.

Saw one of those on that "pirated NFL jersey" commercial.
