Putting the offensive line aside... Remember in the off season when there were questions about Bradley being replaced by Quinn? Quinn is the man. We're no longer losing games on the last drive. Obviously, Bradley didn't have Avril and Bennett, but regardless - We're closing out games.

Bradley would have called his soft zone on the 4th down play and lost the game. Quinn does get into his "zone ruts" at times but he's much better at getting out of them then Gus was, IMHO.

Wait one failed play proves that Bevell wasn't the guy?

Did they not move the ball at will? They missed a FG earlier which is the ONLY reason they didn't kick like Atlanta

That's football. Who knows what we would have done on O if he would have hit the fg.

Quinn likely continues to attack if the Rams just need a field goal.

Idk if it was Pete or Quinn or who ever, but the half time adjustments against the run slowed them down a bit and in due part helped us win. There's no way we would of survived another half like the first one.

Loved that 4th and 2 with the game on the line that he dialed up that same blitz that sent Thurmond. Takes some cojones but saved our asses

Too much zone on that final drive for my liking, however. He tightened up when the Rams were on the goalline, but his play calls allowed them to drive 96 yards IMO.

The freaking Rams with a backup QB marched 96 yards with 4 minutes left in the game. I'm just thankful they couldn't punch it in. Because that final drive was agonizing to watch.

They were running cover 0 which means every one is man on man with no help. Sherm said that the LOB begged Pete to run this every time it was 4&close because of how they lost in ATL. He said something along the lines of if they were to lose, they wanted to lose one on one, where you're man has to beat you for it and not that zone stuff. Cover 0 is designed so that anyone who is not covering someone is supposed to blitz, and in this case Thurmond was not covering anyone, so he blitzed.
