Correct. That play was all on wilson and carol. Period! We were not good at short yardage with lynch at all.

A lot of the Marshawn "fails" were playcall issues. I mean, one of them was shotgun with a 300lb FB on 3's left, Beast on the right. FB runs out to the flat and it's a delayed handoff straight up the middle for no gain. Jim Brown wouldnt get a yard on that one.

I was adressing the common refrain about Lynch on short to go downs. IIRC, the OC calling plays is under PC and that is why the Lynch stats were low, IMO

I think with Lynch yes, carson meh, I think we can and would be with Charbs but, PC sometimes can have a tendency to play favorites. I think he played favorite to walker in a situation that was better suited for charbs for the 3rd and short situation.

That was why I gave the example. Absolutely asinine playcall. When you have Beast and a 300lb FB, run it between the tackles with the FB lead blocking.
