I don't think Seattle will tie themselves to Geno like this. They'll go with Howell and draft a rookie. It could have an interesting effect on San Fran/Purdy, though.

What a dumb organization. They're not even going to win their division this year. Jerry is officially senile.

Crazy. He didn't even give them a slight discount for Jerry showing loyalty & signing him to his last contract when he was still recovering from that horrific broken leg & it wasn't a 100% guarantee that he would fully recover from.

I wouldn't take a discount for my boss, let alone Jerry Jones, lol.

In pro sports, sometimes you have to take a little less so you can be stronger at other positions if you want to win. Obviously setting a new salary record(one that will be broken on the next signing) was more important than winning to him & his agent.

My main point was Jerry gave him $160M & $126M guaranteed 4 years ago when there was a chance he'd never play again due to the severity of his broken leg.

Maybe from Dak’s perspective he did give them a discount.

Football at the Pro and College level, is putting a gun to the side of their heads. We get to enjoy it while we can. There will be financial earthquakes in the very near future. With money problems reaching even the working class, subscriptions will be one of the first cuts to fans.
