Maybe the fact that TKnight bucked the MM rule for rushing the QB had some consequence in DLawrence getting the nod . . . and an historic, 2 scoop n scores within 4 minutes dint hurt. Haha!!!

Yeah this is like SB48. Avril makes the play and Malcolm Smith is MVP.

Which is why I don't pay much attention to awards like these.

However, in defense of the MVP for SB 48, they should have given it to the entire defense, and since that was impossible, they gave it to the highlight reel player, the one who got to spike the ball.
