Yep was my only solace when not watching seahawks games so now I only watch 1 actual game a week and turn the rest off....

I like this part:

"The NFL also confirmed to Richard Deitsch of The Athletic that the change is unrelated to the league's pending transaction with ESPN, which includes the Worldwide Leader gaining distribution rights of RedZone."

Suuuuuuuuuuure it doesn't.......

I yearn for the good ole days of ads covered the costs so you could watch free and if you paid you had no ads. Ads no longer provide free entertainment, now they just fill coffers.

I guess I am going to have to have RedZone on pause like I do for everything else on TV so I can fast forward through the commercials. What a damn shame. RedZone was always my commercial-free happy place on Sundays.

As my girl always says; "This too shall pass!"

Hopefully it won't be toooooo bad. The stuff I read says it's gonna be a splitscreen typa thing.

Still sucks blue whale.

VERY good point. Pause, go pee and/or grab some more food, then forward thru the commercials.

IF they're doing split screen, certainly better than nothing.

I'm glad I didn't pay for it, the NFL is just squeezing for more cash.
I'm sure that deal for stake in ESPN while letting ESPN run NFL network
and Redzone has everything to do with this.
