The refs can award a touchdown?!? That's crazy.

They weren't trying to intentionally get a penalty - they were trying to time a run to stop a nearly unstoppable play. Ridiculous reffing IMO.

So they're supposed to just let it continue? And if the defense keeps doing it?

Cant try to time defensive jump over the top.

Can’t try it twice.

Can‘t do anything in case the refs award a score.

But they're still expected to stop them from an inch out?

I can understand warning the jumper, but warning the dline is bullshit. They were going on hurts’ count. Not their fault hurts is trying to draw them when there is absolutely no need to. If there was anything unsportsmanlike like on that last warning it was the eagles trying to draw the encroachment.

How much better do the Eagles need their field position before they quit fudging around and run the play? I love a rule that can award the offense a score, warn the defense and penalize the defense all day. However, at no time is it unsportsmanlike to continually run a hard count on the one inch line. Why not ban defense altogether and let players run up and down the field all day until one team is too tired to run and therefore lose the game. 🤬

If I were a defensive coach I would do the bad thing - tell the linemen to go for the QB and make it the tush push the most dangerous play ever. Go for the head, twist his ankle in the pile. Just make sure it's part of the action. Make offensive coaches unwilling to call it. I'm not advocating this, just saying I'm surprised it isn't happening.

As a fan, I don't mind it as long as it's just the QB pushing behind the O-line. I think the push from behind by two RBs should be banned.

Yes. If the defense is legitimately trying to stop a play they should let it continue all day long. They're not trying to delay the game.

Barkley is such a stud RB, and on top of that, he's got great field vision.

I am not counting on the Refs.. er, I mean KC beating Buffalo. I still got hope. All eyes will be on those refs, a lot has been made of it lately.

Ban the tush push. How can you line up for times in a row and just run the same play. I hate that play. Then Goeddert, or however you spell it, is back there picking up hurts and literally trying to shove him over the pile. He grabbed him and tried to push him over… I hate that play. The Seahawks need to start doing it
