Can anyone explain why the hit by the kicker wasn't flagged for helmet to helmet or why the announcers didn't say anything about it either?

Wouldn't be surprised if Denver was still voted ahead of us...just cause.

Seahawks about to jump to #1 in power rankings.

Why wouldnt the Chiefs be #1?

Because they have played NO ONE. They beat the Texans by one point, the same Texans that lost to San Francisco 34-3 and St. Louis 38-13. They are good, but vulnerable. Great defense. Offense led by Alex Smith...

Yes, it does help to be a little more mobile than Manning or Brady.
Luck/Wilson are the prototype of the modern QBs.
Every team should get one like that.

Yeah I expected at least a comment that it was helmet to helmet but who cares because it was a kicker knocking a dude out.

Holliday clowned himself on that play with his strutting. Perhaps he didn't realize it was the kicker who nailed him, if it was just another dude on kick coverage then I can see it just being a normal play. Getting canned by a kicker warrants a little humility.

Brian McIntyre ‏@brian_mcintyre 59m
RT @MikeGarafolo: And Holliday not defenseless. He was a runner RT @ProFootballTalk: McAfee hit not illegal. Didn't use top of his helmet

And I thought they had all these receivers ...
Decker, Thomas, Walker, ...
Looks like the Denver boat has caught plenty of water ...

Denver cannot handle a pass rush, we match up quite well with them

So far so good! I still doubt it will hold up for another half, but I sure hope so. Nothing better than seeing Manning when he is frustrated. Luck is outplaying him.

Of course the gaqme can turn around but it is nice to see the air let out of the Bronco balloon a bit. All the gushing about this team who hadn't played a decent defense and hadn't really stopped anyone from scoring themselves. They're a good team, no question, but people see a lot of scoring and swoon a bit out of proportion.

They come back and win this though and the swoon will be back with a vengeance.

OBTW Decker whining for a flag is a poor substitute for actually trying to make a catch.

A frustrated Manning only won 1 SB in 13 years in Indy.
I like Manning, but I think he is a little overrated.

Gotta be honest, the Colts have no running game and not a very good OL. Their defense is Mathis and Davis, basically. They should have been down 17-0 to our team before the refs helped them back into it against us, and let's be honest that if SF just gave Gore the ball, that game probably would have turned out differently too.

I'm impressed as hell with Luck, though. That's a dude that will make the team around him look better than it is.

Just tuned in and scratching my head at the score. I though the donks would roll on these guys, like a one sided track meet.

Manning can't convert 3rd downs ... Brady was 1-12 on third down today.

Manning doesn't do much when anyone gets pressure on him.

Brady looks terrible, by the way. I think he's losing arm strength. He still has it sometimes, but he looks like a dude that is falling off. It might be time for New England to draft a QB next year. It's a deep draft at that position, so now is the time.

So, basically it is time for the new generation of greats in the NFL. I am so glad we have Wilson. He is way better than Manning under pressure.
