Just wondering what the actual issue is -

When I'm reading this article - I'm like: "It's her ******* team - she can run it however she wants."

Maybe I'm missing something?

Not that I particularly care about the Colts - although they are my son's team for some unknown reason

She is the Boss now. If thrust into her position - I would do much the same - put on the headset - suck up all the info I could - sit in on meetings etc.

But it would be done as unobtrusively as possible. On the sidelines with the headset is a little over the top. She can do what she is doing from the booth. That she is a woman has zero impact on my opinion.

She has been joining the team meetings and FO meetings for some time along with being on the sidelines. That is what her father wanted her to do so she could accelerate and learn this business inside and out. Hard to make an off season decision if you do not know what is going on as an owner.

It's a non story to me. She was handed this business and while she's been around it her whole life, she's never been the deal maker or had to make the business decisions. She's not getting in the way or making it all about her like Jerry Jones does. I just see it as an opportunity for her to learn aspects she has never been a part of but now thrusted into with the death of her father. Not an issue to me at all.

Would this story be written about a man? Besides, at the time Irsay died, there were stories that he had groomed his daughters (not in the creepy use of the word) to be able to run the team when he died. Let her try. They're 3-0 so far.
