I saw him running onto the field a few times yesterday from the nosebleeds, but otherwise I didn't see Cliff in on any tackles or plays in general. Looking at the stat sheet, it appears he was not credited with any tackles. Seems like that is 2 or 3 games now where he hasn't been too impactful. I remember him getting to Schaub once in Houston I think.

Has anyone been paying close attention to him when he is out there? Is he doing his job or struggling? I feel like I have barely even noticed him after the huge play in the SF game, so I really have no idea how the prized addition is doing lately.

Just like Bruce, Avril wasn't going to get his against the Titans. As much as it seems counter to what you'd think, the Titans run inside. And, guess what? The Hawks DL and MLB made the tackles instead of Avril and Irvin.

Also, there was solid pressure by the defensive front, all game.

This is a reach.

The goal of the game for the D was to shut down the run and pick off fitzpatrick, not get overly aggressive against a lesser opponent.

Avril shined the first couple games back, then when Clemons came back he disappeared. Not getting as many snaps with Clems in? reaching here....

Red Bryant has been taking a ton of snaps at DE lately, and because Avril is pass rush DE #2, that's having a pretty big impact on his opportunities.

Avril has always been a player that shows up with huge plays for a few games, then disappears for a few games. It's why the Lions fans said they didn't care when he left.

Nothing out of the ordinary here. He'll have good numbers at the end of the year, just like always.

I think he has been somewhat de-emphasized since Clemons Return. Hard to get noticed when Bryant, Mebane, Bennett and Clemons are all balling right now.
