I like Zach, he's a bigger, tough runner who has a nice blend of RB traits who can still scoot and peel off some nice gains. Has a nose for the end zone too. I mean, why would you want to share carries with Charbs when he does more with less carries & scores more TD's?

ZC is only 25, was a 2nd rounder and has performed pretty damn well with a shared load.
730 yds & 12TD's before injury.
Even if Charbs doesn't return until mid season, I think we'll be fine at RB. Price, Holani, McIntosh & whoever could surprise and I got a feeling the OLine's run blocking will improve more than a bit & we'll see it.
Charbs & Price forming a 1-2 punch could be better than with K9, should be fun.

Solid back. I've never seen him at a #1, but he's pretty damn consistent when he's in there.

I wonder about his contract. He'll be back mid-late season then his contract is up. Does he sign a 1 year prove it?

No doubt. JSN getting even better after DK left is impressive. He gets the bracket coverage all the time, yet gets open as well as any WR in the football. I liked DK, but there is no comparison. JSN is light years better.
Charbs is good, but he's no K9, imo. I'm stoked to see the 2 headed monster once he gets back on the field. Two different types of backs. Exactly how Mike likes it, imo.

On one hand, it's good to know that he is on track.
On the other hand, what do you expect him to say?

Charbs looked like the better back often this year. Outside of the injury concern, it isn't absurd to think there will be no drop off. Not quite the evidence there was with JSN to say Charbs will be an upgrade.

So you're implying that Charbs is lying?

Not necessarily; he is doing what he should be doing by staying positive and getting his name out there so the casual 12s and general public remember him.

One scenario I could see playing out with charbs is him not playing another down for seattle or even just lessor role once healthy then signing somewhere else after the season. He's on his contract year and it sounds like mid-season at earliest. If Price/Wilson do well while he's out it could be possible. I could also see him coming back on a reasonable deal because of the injury.

It's my understanding that Zack Charbonnet lives the example Seahawks seek.

"Dying is easy. Living is a pain in the butt. It's like an athletic event. You've got to train for it. You've got to eat right." ------ Jack LaLanne.
