Has the NFL gone overboard with celebration fines/unsportsmanship calls?

Eagles LB Jalyx Hunt was fined $5700 for simulating shooting a bow & arrow after sacking Mahomes in the Super Bowl.
This celebration has been used in years past, but with new rule changes the league office has deemed this violent gesture.
I guess I can see banning a throat slash or gun shots but it seems like it's getting ridiculous. No Fun League.
BTW, the Chiefs helmet logo is an arrowhead.

I'm ok with it so long as not directed at anyone. They need consistency though. You can't even dunk over the goal post without it being an unsportsmanlike flag. That baffles me.

If this is truly to 'protect impressionable kids' - that's a complete laugh!

The shit that they watch on their phones all day would probably make your hair curl. If you had hair, which I don't have much of :)

I grew up seeing guns in family TV shows, cartoons, and movies, we all handled it fine. Now we have smoking listed as adult content in the Motion Picture Association ratings.
