He had a GREAT game yesterday and very little talk here about it. He had a beastmode like performance yesterday.

I was on him for the fumble and slipping last week, but he looked focused and a man possessed yesterday.

I love the poor CB he kept trucking into last night. Especially on the right where he went to the sidelines and lowered his shoulder driving the CB backwards a few steps

That was awesome. He trucked quite a few yesterday.

Amazing what happens when you play a piss-poor defense instead of the league's finest. Yeah, I said it.

Great game, and hopefully one of many more to come. This is the guy we gushed over last season. If that guy is back for the long term, we have a bright future this year and beyond.

And, it is more about his attitude. He was doing his imitation of Beast Mode, which is actually fairly elusive, but also includes running guys over.

Oh, and BTW, he trucked Peterson a few times. I thought he was supposed to be good. ;)

Great game no doubt. He is our premier back and nothing has changed about that. Every person that competes has slumps and this wasn't much of one.

The only thing that worries me about CC is how long he can take tacklers head-on until he gets injured. It's the chance you have to take in PC's program but having to depend on Penny to carry the load scares me.

Seattle will go as far as Wilson and Carson take them. Carson is a great RB I was never worried . If he gets hurt though it's nice to know we have to good back ups that can carry the rock.

How could he have trucked Peterson if Peterson wasn't playing?...Unless you're referring to last season.

I was at the game yesterday. Surrounded by cards fans on every side. Can't tell you how many times I heard them say things like "how FYI they always get the f'n beasts ", and "Geez that guy is ridiculous" and "hey! We stopped him for no gain that time...why'd that feel like a super bowl win " . We're not the only ones that see. He's a beast out there

Penny has a different style and is a bit more boom or bust but he's got incredible numbers and has never fumbled. I have no doubt he could have success too.

I am not sure why are we even trying to hype up Carson. Only people who have no brain wanted him benched. Everyone who has a working eye or a working ear or a brain at 5% productivity compared to average person knew that benching him would've made us a much worse team. Pete for all his faults in believing in his coaching staff at least won't make the same mistake with Carson as he is actually great.

I think we should simply acknowledge his great game! And NO fumbles. I reckon virtually all of us would have "taken" an "offer" of a 3-1 opening to the season.

Now the brutally short week to the home Rams game - and how I wish I could be there, for so many reasons.

Cards are bad. Mike Davis tore them up last year.
How is Lacy doing as Seattle's feature back?
How is Matt Flynn doing as our starter? I thought DK would be a bust? I can play that game with you as well. ;)

The Cards are a bad team.

But we need Carson to be successful. This is a great way to regain confidence.

One thing I do notice is that he is firmly putting both hands on the ball as soon as he hits contact. He is aware he is now a target and making sure he is protecting the ball.

Most of the strips this year were him fighting for extra yards after contact, so this is a good habit that hopefully will reduce his chance of fumbling even against good defenses.

He might get a little bit more banged up because he cannot put his hands down to protect himself when he hits the ground, but we have 2 RBs to give him time to recover when he needs it.

The Cards were just what this team needed after a somewhat worrying series of games. We needed to reduce the turnovers and we did. Now just keep the momentum going on not putting the ball on the ground.
