I can see McVay, or any successful coach for that matter, hanging up their hat early, the pressure is ungodly. Some thrive on pressure, some prefer to move on and enjoy their lives. Sean has his ring, he has his money and can still stay closely attached to football while wearing a suit and sleeping nights. A TV job pays well and he can live pressure free.
I thought earlier this year that both he and Stafford would be hanging it up, still wouldn't surprise me if Matt retires.

Well this could be good or bad, Rams are in Bankruptcy mode with the Cap, Cards will now have a whole new direction and who knows if it will work with a new GM and Coach. Really think they will move on from Murray, he has went Diva and been difficult for them to manage. Can they afford too is the question without paying too much. But them and Indy will be looking at QB's I am sure as well as the Texans, that's two or three picks ahead of us used on QB's which isn't bad for us.

Apparently Cardinal ownership wasn't too cheap to fire him after all. I very much doubt they move on from Murray. I imagine it would be a difficult do with his contract and injury. That would be a load of instability, too.

Cards and Broncos should swap QBs...just give them both a fresh start with a new coach and new system. Both teams are committed to a big QB contract, but it could be swapped and the margin paid. I guess each team would have to have lost all confidence in their own QB but... probably not too far off.

idk how appealing that job is. Watt at the end of his career is still their sack leader by a long shot, 0 home field advantage, an immature QB who pouts on the sideline and has only affirmed why they put a "needs to work hard and not play video games" clause in his contract. Not to mention one of the league's oldest rosters.

Add in a competitive division with two playoff teams that aren't even the injury-plagued defending champs - who wants that situation?

Hiring him was stupid in the first place

Wasn’t even barely a .500 coach in college

Benefitted from being young and having sweet sunglasses

Guy has never actually been a sustained winner
