Card Collector Question….

I have in my possession two Steve Largent Rookie cards.
They were graciously donated as prizes for our season long contest.

I noticed on the back of the card it’s written that his # was 54.

I believe his # in college was 83, and I know he only wore 80 for the Hawks.
He never wore 54 while an Oiler

Is this a mistake/misprint, or does the #54 listed pertain to something completely different?

Indeed, Steve caught 54 passes for 705 yards and 4 TDs in his rookie year (1976).
