some girl on this website asked her husband what the 49ers QB name is.
He said "I think its papaki or something like that".

I don't think that's the story of it, I think that was a story of someone misperceiving his actual name because of what he read online.

Actually, that wasn't it. Mr dbmack is a 49er fan who also roots for the Seahawks. He was just having trouble remembering Kaepernick's name. He doesn't even go online.

Also, the NET use of Papaki is a euphemism for his desire to carnally love turtles.

His turtle's name is Sammy.

I think it's actually a tortoise. Which is important, because some tortoises can live for a 100 years. I'm sure Sammy wants to die early.

LOL! This thread reminds me of the fun this whole thing was during the long off season. Someone was going to bring a Papaki sign to the game last night but I forgot to watch for it on tv. Anyone know if there was one?

I believe CANHawk should be the one to respond to the OP.

He uses the term more than anyone.

I didn't see a sign on TV, but I can say that "Papaki" is just considered the proper pronunciation of "K-A-E-P-E-R-N-I-C-K" at my house. Mr dbmack, in conjunction with dbmack herself, unwittingly created my favorite nickname for any of the Seahawks' opponents. The fact that it has stuck here at .NET is further testament to its awesomeness. :th2thumbs:

I too am addicted to this nickname and I don't really know why. It just works, somehow.
