Can Charbonnet balance out the backfield?

Like most rookie RB's, it's more about them picking up the playbook and blocking assignments quickly, rather than their running ability.

So yeah, as long as Charbonnet has a great camp and pre-season, no reason he won't be big part of the offense this season. We don't want Walker taking 80-90% of the snaps.

I wouldn't rule out McIntosh either, dude's a stud and I think he's going to surprise some people in the pre-season.

Charbonnet and McIntosh are big upgrades imo over Penny and Homer. Penny largely due to his injury problems and Homer I think just isn't as talented of a back as either of them.

The nice thing about this group of backs other then learning to pass block better, is all of them can catch and run. Some do it better then the others but all can do it. So having a McIntosh in does not mean a pass play nor Walker in just for runs, or any one thing for any of them. Defenses cannot stack the box nor drop in coverage with 8 just based on personnel.
