Gotta get this guy. If M's arent going to finish the infield this offseason then get the outfield done. Reynolds (switch), Julio, Teoscar would be one of the best outfields in baseball.

Would love to have him but not giving up Ford and Hancock + for him. Stanton needs to unpry his wallet.

I'm really hoping that this is the plan. It's going to cost a lot prospects wise because he has 3 years of club control left. Unfortunately, the only prospect they have left ranked in the top 100 is Ford. That's going to make it hard unless they (Pittsburgh) value Kelenic higher than he's viewed nationally now...

If they go into the season with just what they've done now it's a major failure of an off-season. Everyone in the division got better and so far the Ms have just done enough to stay the same at best.

Help us Bryan Reynolds you're our only hope since we have such cheap ass ownership and a used car salesmen running the team who will NEVER go all the way to win.

why.. we got pitching, we got catching, we dont got an outfielder.. I'd do it.
You can never have enough quality pitching. Ford is a great athlete that likely won’t stay at catcher. I’m willing to bet he ends up in the outfield at some point to save his knees (see Dale Murphy of the Braves in the late ‘70’s and 80’s).

Click on the link. Look not only at his stats but his scouting grades. 60 is the highest score you can get. You don’t trade away a kid with this much talent. He’s going to be a Super Star caliber player.

lmao. c'mon people.

we spent last playoff run unloading our farm system. currently, harry ford is our best prospect, and he could be a star. would be a total waste to trade him + other prospects for a guy that had a whopping 2.9 WAR last season. you don't trade away your best prospect for a marginal gain when you're on the outside looking in. bryan reynolds of all players isn't putting this team over the top. still way too many significant holes on offense to be serious contenders.

if ownership had attacked free agency and spent money turning weaknesses into strengths, making us a legit contender, then i'd say go for it and trade away the last of your good prospects. but ownership chose not to, they did absolutely nothing this offseason. i think we may have actually regressed.

Good stuff! Think we'll see him in the minors this summer?

Nope. They prefer a platoon situation, AJ Pollock is here. The guy they wanted the whole time. Another year of watching the M's struggle to score more than 3 runs consistently in Seattle.

You know, you could have told us this a long time ago and then we could have all been dissappointed that much sooner. Please, try to keep up.

Ever wonder if they tried getting Reynolds but maybe Pittsburgh is asking to much.
