Bruce Irvin has had a "tuff" couple of weeks. Lol the fact he spelled that out in his statement is a joke. What an ultramaroon

This is all a carryover from a college lifestyle. adderall is rampant on all campuses and I believe they might think that it will let them drink and drive better, tho not sure since I do mine without it.

Too bad the Niners will not be able to expose him in Week 2 now. Oh well...

Zero tough questions asked of Carroll today.

Almost as unacceptable as Irvin's suspension.

Note to self: If you are going to be the grammar or spelling police it is wise to double/triple check your own.

We all need to let this go.

The team will survive and it will compete for the NFCW division title with, or without, Bruce Irvin.

Let's not let high expectations get in the way of enjoying the ride this year cuz we have one great young team.

I had really high hopes for Bruce this year. I feel its a massive loss not having him for those games to start the season. I still think he can come back after the 4 game suspension and have double digit sacks. Anyone else feel the same?

C'mon. We have to face it. Our season is done. And to think before it even started.

Suck for Joe Schmuck!

Yes. I think his situation is being completely overblown here and at other Seahawk sites. It's only 4 games and they have contingency plans in place.

Do you think you just proved something? None of that is news to me.

As I said....the violations revolved around a contract for Brent Jones that helped the 49ers resign Jim Druckenmiller. As for the rest of the players you mentioned, there is no proof of any of that. Rumors. There are also rumors that Sherman got away with cheating...that doesn't make them true. The 49ers did the crime and they did the time.

As for what I said about your comments in regards to DeBartolo and Policy...I stand by it. You have one article there that is pretty much a hack job trying to destroy a mans character. Plain and simple. You believe all that crap because you want to. If I hated Obama right now I could go find stuff that tells me he's a Socialist from Kenya...doesn't make it true.

The DeBartolos and the mob? That was long rumored...but that was Eddies father, not Eddie. Eddie got himself in trouble in Louisiana and he did the time as well. He should never have done what he did and he paid a steep price...he lost the team.

My point in originally posting was that I thought it was ridiculous that anyone would skew what happened with Irvin into a positive. "I love it...this proves they are trying". That ultimate homerism and while peeps here probably aren't a fan of me I think most would agree with what I just said.

I'm not attacking the Seahawk organization because my guess is that there are players in every organization who are bending the rules. The 49ers of the 90's broke the rules and they paid for it. Lets not make a hero tho of Bruce Irvin because he's cheating. Come on guys...you're better than that.

I can barely see you up there on your high horse. Most Seahawk fans are not happy this happened, nor do they think it's cool because it means Irvin is "really trying". I know a lot of people who party with Adderall because it's a stimulant. Think red bull and vodka. You can stay up a lot longer and it's really prevalant. Based on his age and the age of the others who have been caught for this, I think that is the likely culprit here.

I think the simple fact is that every team has people that are doing things that could reflect poorly upon the organization if caught. It's not a system wide issue, it's an individual issue. Your dumb team is no better than our dumb team in this.

I suggest you brush up on your reading skills. I said the same freakin' thing about players on every team being guilty. I stated that I don't think its an organizational issue.

My original message was posted in response to a person who DID think it was "really cool". My message was for him and others like him, not most of the Seahawk fanbase who are pissed at Irvin. I even stated that most Seahawk fans would agree with my statement.

Before you go off on a rant, try reading first.

Well, they're better at not getting caught.

As I said before....it's naive to think every single player on any given team is clean.

You do have to wonder why it's been so many 'hawks in such a short time, but I really don't think it's organizational.

My entire point tho was to peeps who were trying to skew this into a good thing. Most of the 'hawks fans on this board ripped them new ones. The only reason peeps are jumping on me is that I happen to be the fan of a different team.

This could easily have been SF tho. There were rumors just before the draft last year that the 49ers had interest in Irvin, so even tho the talking heads ripped Seattle for taking him that high, he would never have been on the board as long as those idiots think he would.

Not when they were winning super bowls.

Sigh. Here we go again.

Tell me what rules they were breaking when winning Super Bowls. All of the stuff that was linked before was well AFTER their last championship and 4 of the 5 SB wins came prior to Free Agency. Please...enlighten me.

Is this what makes you guys feel better about Irvin? Your guy gets popped so you deflect the conversation to 20+ years ago? I thought the SB trophies were so old that they had no place in any conversation. Thats what I've heard anytime anyone says anything about 5 rings.

I get it...its only when convenient. Cool. I guess I know the rules now.
