In all probability, unless there is someone they love in the first, they'll trade down to recoup a fourth or fifth. If they get an extra pick I could see a LB that MM likes.

I am all for drafting Vega. The guy is massive and athletic, and probably most importantly, a good human being. Greatness potential!

I don't think Ionae will make it past Detroit at 17, so I would like to see us trade for 16 with the Jets to grab him. He will be worth it.

If we have Vega and Zabel as guards, Sam will get Matthew Stafford-like protection. Just think about what he could do with that. It would cost to move up from 32 to 16, but it will be worth it.

All I know is that nobody did more to undermine us in the NFC championship than Anthony Bradford.

That includes Riq Woolen.

I think to move up to 16 from 32, would take their first and second leaving only a 3rd and a couple day 3 picks. Not worth it unless they bring in an above-average CB in FA. They need to bolster their CB bad after this season with a playmaker. That's why I'm hoping they take a CB in their first round.

Agree we need a CB who can start Week 1 in 2026, I have said elsewhrre Riq Woolen needs to go.
As you implied however a lot depends on what happens in FA, for example, if we lose Mafe but get Jamel Dean who I would like us to get in R1 will be very different.

If we stay put we may be able to draft Pregnon, but he is not as good.
