And the commitment, passion, and ability to work in a team environment she learned from being a collegiate athlete commit will be a beacon for her the rest of her life at multiple levels.ACL’s can be tricky. My daughter had a full ride to play Vball. Tore hers. Two surgeries later, from a surgeon who worked with the Hawks, and it never has healed quite right. So she had to hang it up and made me a grandpa. Pretty cool consolation. She worked so hard to fix it too. Never know.
Absolutely true on all accounts. Thanks for sharing. And the commitment, passion, and ability to work in a team environment she learned from being a collegiate athlete commit will be a beacon for her the rest of her life at multiple levels.
As a Dad of a D1 volleyball commit as well , I have to remind myself that all this club money is a long term investment in her, not just in the sport.
Your daughter sounds like an awesome woman. I’m hoping to join the Grandpa ranks in the next few years as well and am getting excited.
Grandkids fill the hole in your heart that you didn't know was there.Absolutely true on all accounts. Thanks for sharing.
I always told my daughter I never cared if she played in college or not. I just loved watching her be the best she could be doing what she loves. She coaches now and continues to change lives for the better every day.
And being a grandpa is dope!
