Can't say enough good things about him. He's really stepped up his level of play. Not sure what his contract situation is, but they may want to look into extending him sooner rather than later. He's going to be marquee player in this league if he keeps it up.

He keeps getting better and better.

The one thing I would still like to see him improve though is wrapping up the QB or RB a bit better. It still seems there are a couple of plays a game where he blows up the offensive line and gets to the QB, but can't bring him down and the QB slips away.

He needs to learn to control his momentum a bit more on some of those speed rushes so he doesn't allow the QB just to spin away from him.

Besides that, he's awesome, and I can't wait to see what he does over the next few years.

After a down second half of last season he's really stepping up and figuring it out. Could be a monster pass rusher very soon.

If Walker, Woolen, Mafe and Cross keep progressing- which they are (after some had down seasons) and Lucas can get over the injuries that will be the best draft since 2012 by far.

I don't have access to any advanced stats sites but I wonder if Mafe's second half slow down last season was due to more double-teaming / accounting for him once teams started recognizing he was a problem. And considering there wasn't a lot of other bright spots last season on the D that they could focus on shutting him down.

Good to see him coming out strong. Sure wish we had Nwosu back and 100%. Curious to see it all together.

That's why sacks come in streaks and why the team needs more than one guy who can rush the passer well. Anybody who gets hot gets more attention.

INHO, he’s under rated and under the radar.

If the current team is successful, this dude will eventually BLOW UP the narrative of the pundits.

For now, I’m ok with him not getting the accolades.
