That’s not true, they aren’t giving an extra click, they watch for the clock the. Look to see if they hiked the ball which takes about a second. In this instance they weren’t lined up so it’s easy to see there was a delay.

Not quite. The official clock (as opposed to what is on the TV) has hundredths of a second. So they're waiting for it to hit :00.00. That means there is nearly a full second before the clock ACTUALLY hits zero. They should show that clock on TV to stop this topic from being debated so much.
