Bears defensive coordinator Alan Williams submitted his resignation to the organization, saying in a statement Wednesday that he is “taking a step back to take care of (his) health and (his) family.”
The NFL is not involved in the Williams’ situation, according to league sources. It has repeatedly been categorized as a personal situation and was handled internally by the Bears.
Halas Hall was not raided by authorities and police were never present in connection with Williams’ situation, according to the Bears.

Technically it denies a raid regarding Williams, not a blanket statement that no raid took place at all. Probably means the same thing but the wording is a little weird. If it were me, I’d just say there was no raid period.
