I was curious as to why the Seahawks don't use more fronts mostly used by the Ravens and by the Cardinals late in the game last week. The pre-snap look and coverage the Hawks usually show is so easy to discern. Why not crowd the line of scrimmage and force a qb to figure out what's going to happen post snap ? The Cards confused the hell out of the Hawks line late in the game which attributed to that last interception thrown by Wilson. Any thoughts ?

Pete likes his defense a certain way. We've never been a big mix it up type D.

Why we don't try it when getting gouged? who knows. But that's never been his style. They prefer the don't get beat up type cover 3, then rally and tackle approach.

Why would they do that instead of lining Flowers 10 yards off when the opposing team need 3 yards for a first down? :sarcasm_off:

Always man! Somebody has to pinpoint a player like its exclusively his fault. I will say it again...when flowers came in against hopkins...hopkins didnt do much the rest of the game.

This is why for years a washed up backup qb can come in the game and look like Joe Montana. There's zero disguise or surprise. Relying on our defense to execute perfectly is only tougher when the offense knows exactly what they need to do before the snap, and a great throw always beats great coverage.
