If JSN plays like this next year John better ink him up mid-season...
If he finishes top 3 in any/all of the following WR stats, we redo his deal after THIS season:

1. Receptions
2. Receiving TDs
3. 3rd down conversions - or - catches for a first down. (It is slightly different.)

I haven't seen this much hype (deservedly so) about one of our receivers since Joe Juereviciusiususeus or Koren Robinson.

Yeah, I can agree with this... I've been jealous of other teams that have those WR's that always seem to be open every play and they are uncoverable, and now we have one on our roster.. It feels good 👍🏻

You can't until the 4th season is over, I believe.

Do it after this year. It will only get more expensive. It'll give him money now/then which he'd like and appreciate, and let us structure it in a way for us to have room to move to obtain someone we might need to bolster our squad.

How much do you think we’re looking at?

For a comp, J Chase is making $40.25m/year.
Damn, this kid is gonna get paid.

Definitely near the top. But we'd be doing him a favor if we basically tore up his scaled rookie deal after the third year and guaranteed him much more money up front than if he played another year or even two on his rookie deal. So there's that. I don't know how much that might play in such negotiations. I'm not a good contract guy. LOL Also, no state income taxes here. Again, I don't know how much that ever plays into such deals.

He grew up a Cowboys fan, he even has their emblem on his arm. Have to make it lucrative for him to stay here.

Pay him. Whatever it takes…pure baller.

He said he loves Seattle…I don’t see him wanting to be anywhere else.
