We were fortunate to get him last year. Hope he finally gets a payday. Dan Quinn will treat him right.

Unlike many here, I do not root for Quinn anymore. He is coaching an enemy team. Screw him and his vulturing.

We better hit it hard in the draft or our team could be in some trouble.

Good luck to Schofield, I wish him luck in Atlanta (Whenever they aren't playing the Seahawks!). Go bring down Brees and Newton!

I liked/ loved what I saw from Marsh last season prior to injury. I agree we probably try and add depth here, too, via the draft.

Michael Johnson, please.

And it still wouldn't completely shock me if the Hawks at least discuss Greg Hardy.

Wow. Schofield is no major loss. He's depth that doesn't provide anything we don't already have on the roster, and better.

Quinn is only going to poach what we don't want. If we wanted a player, he wouldn't be available.

Since he played with the Hawks for 2 years we'll get a pick for this. If he had stayed with the Giants the Hawks wouldn't have got anything. Mission accomplished.

We are getting picks and are in the position to even get our former players back. (Red Bryan) ?

Schofield was a valuable backup and as others have said I hope he gets paid and plays well for Atl..

I dislike the reality he stays in the NFC but hope his knees let him earn his deal.

For me I always hate losing a good depth player and yet his acquisition came from a divisional rival.

The team needs another solid edge rusher buta player who is steady against the run.

For me it'd be awesome if the FO could attract Jaball Sheard, or another top edge rusher on a Mike Bennett type deal, However, somehow think the draft and a journeyman vet may offer the replacement.

I agree about Quinn...I have no interest in seeing him win. But seriously on Scholfield? We're in trouble?

Not true. Wanting a player and being able to afford that player are 2 different things.

The Hawks wanted to keep Maxwell but were unable to.

Schofield provided good depth and was cheap, but he can make more $ elsewhere and is gone.

Schofield isn't a big loss, but we are unlikely to find a vet as good as him for as cheap as we had him. Trust me, if the Hawks couldve kept him another year on a cheapo deal he would still be here.
