Atlanta blitzes 2nd most behind Minnesota

It is good to face teams that run a lot of blitzing and disguised blitzing. Our line needs to see that and learn how to play against it better as over the entirety of that last game.

Perfect game to get the Darnold/JSN connection back in business and to (hopefully) get Rashid Shaheed some touches in the passing game, too.

While I certainly know we have one of the best defenses in the NFL, I’m pretty sure them starting an undrafted rookie QB helped play a role in that final score.

An undrafted rookie that had he spiked the ball on every snap would have had a higher passer rating than he put up against us. I don't think we can count on that kind of performance out of an opposing quarterback in very many of our remaining games.

Yeah, you can look at it two different ways, and you've described one of them, that it exposed a weakness that we can now correct by game planning.

The other way you can look at it is that the Vikings discovered the blueprint on how to stop our offense and exposed our Achilles heel for other teams to follow.

Meh. I don't call any blueprint by a Flores Defense against the Seahawks usable for any defense aside from a Flores Defense.

This game will tell teams blitzing will beat Seattle or it won’t. If the offense can score points today I will feel better about their chances. If they stink the bed then all games going forward teams will blitz 60% plus of the time.

Oh for sure, but MM's defense also kept Matt Stafford from looking all world.
That loss was not on Macdonald's swarming defense I mean 4 interceptions by Darnold in that game was too much to overcome.

Barely, imo.

The fact that he could've just had 3 interceptions (and the Hawks still would've won) speaks volumes to how dominant this defense is.

Anyway, that's neither here nor there.

I was watching a show with a panel of "experts" and they were talking about the SB contenders in the NFC. They had the Rams, Packers, and Eagles on top. Then someone asked what about the Seahawks? They all agreed we were a really good team with a really good defense, but our offense just wasn't good enough. So we're still not quite in that top tier, apparently.

"So if we hold the Rams to 20 points and we score 27, is our offense "good enough" then, you assclowns?" That's what I would respond with.

I think it all comes down to next thursday for the contender narrative. Win and I think we go all the way. Darnolds turnovers are the only real weakness currently, maybe lack of an explosive run game.

This defense can absorb a turnover here and there provided the Offense is, at the very least, passable enough to score a few TDs with some FGs.
