Are you allowed to stand in 300 level seats?

I have to confess.. I stand while the defense is on the field, but I do not yell. I easily lose my voice and I notice Seattle wins every time I do this. "It's only weird if it doesn't work" lol.

I've sat in just about every part of the stadium. The endzones do the best job of standing the entire time.
After that, I'd say the 100 level, Seahawks side, followed by the visitor side.

In the 300 level, lots of people sit and lots of people do not yell. The sitting I can see, because it is so steep
that you can just find the edge of your seat to see and project your voice downward. I don't understand the lack of noise, though. When they do the cheers from different sections, the lower bowl is always significantly louder than the upper bowl.

Don't know why, but there it is.

I think all stadiums should have seats removed at lower levels. Never understood why anyone would want to sit down during a game if you can stand and you pay good coin to be in lower. That's why I like home games, our fans are in to the game, they know to party. I find it hard to high five and celebrate when sitting and is a buzz kill. Sry, but that pretzel and nachos can wait until half time. When in the higher seats in stadiums and got a good buzz going, I don't mind sitting a little more.

When I go to other stadiums, not all, but most opposing team fans based on my experience would rather sit, play on phone, and do anything but actually get into game. On road games, they tell you to sit down regularly and security will harass, but some will let you celebrate if you play nice. You can't block views or stand in the steps. I understand stadium policies are the norm and designed to give every fan the right to enjoy the game.

I respect that, but jeez; have some fun, winning or losing.

This year at Atlanta game we were high fiving the opposing teams fans when THEY scored because they had no one else celebrate with and the Hawks fans around them were the only one's who wanted to have a good time.

In response to the title of the thread alone: Some might ask if you are allowed to sit in 300 level seats.

Im in 338 as well...thats at least 3 of us.. sit on offense, stand on defense plus big plays obviously.

From what I have seen in my very limited experience the 100 sections on the Seahawks side of the field (130-140) seem to be more boisterous than the 100 level seats on the other side (104-114). I sat in 110 for one game back during the Hasselbeck/ Alexander era and we sat for the whole d*** game. I did not fit in at all, although things may have changed since then. Every other game that I have gone to, I have sat in the Hawk's nest. I fit in a lot better there.

I never bothered looking to see what the different sections are like because I figure I will just take whatever season tickets are offered to me when my number comes up. Now that I know about charter licenses, I will be looking at all the charter sections carefully while I wait for the inevitable bad year. From that point of view, I hope I never am able to afford a charter license.

I'm in section 109 and our area stands pretty much entire game or more accurately whenever we're not in a TV or injury timeout.

I'm about 2/3rds the way up and this is absolutely triggered by the people closer to the field, for the most part, they stand more or less all game, and so if we sit, we can't see jack, and we're too hyped anyway to sit, so no worries there.

No idea what 108 or 110 are like... it does seem to vary quite a bit section to section.
