Definitely not bullies. This last 5 years they have had there run. But like every team by the fifth year opponents start to figure out what they do best and they're window starts to fade. This year it will start everyone has been seeing what Shanahan is doing and know how to defend it better. They still have not won the title during this run they have had so I don't see how they are the bullies. Got to win the ship for it to be true In my eyes.

Ok if they are bullies in reputation only . I'll make the same bet I mode Frodo last year which he never paid. 1(because he just shoots his mouth off like you )100 USD says the 49ers have the better record this year. What you say? Reputation only? Because the truth is the talent is still there. Only injuries would make it not

Your right. Not my yard. However to claim that the talent level on the 49ers is in "reputation only" is preposterous. And Frodo is over the top, and would not eat Crow and pay up when he was wrong

First, where did I shoot my mouth off? Second, I did not predict Seattle to be better than the Niners. There is more to winning football games than talent. Shanahan is a known commodity. Macdonald is not.

So, let's review my comment using simple sentences. I prefer Seattle's talent. I think Santa Clara's reputation as bullies is overstated. Teams are not scared of playing the Niners.

What's preposterous is your inability to read. No one said the 49er's talent level was "reputation only." I said they are "a bully in reputation only."

So, do you think Seattle is more talented or you just prefer them because they play for the Seahawks? And if they lose to the 49ers does that mean that MaCdonald is inferior to Shanahan? MaCdonald beat Shanahan last year, so does that actually mean the talent is inferior?

I don't think any team is scared of playing another team ever

The 49ers are top heavy but that is how GM Lynch built them. Ironically that is how the early 2000 Bucs were as well as Steelers which is why the Bucs back then were called paper champions for a long time until they won the SB.

With that said GM Lynch has quietly been building the depth because the Achilles heel of the 49ers has been lack of depth for a while when trying to make playoff pushes. So the 49ers have been kicking rocks on a lot of reclamation projects and lower round drafted players to develop for depth.

For example the 49ers nabbing Ricky Pearsall is a sneaky good addition because they have Aiyuk, Deebo, and Jennings. Your 4th, and 5th target on offense has to provide an edge. The 49ers can do that even if MAC isn't on the the field. Or, with Kittle they can really spread teams out and it is hard to defend.

49ers defensive depth is a concern. They have some injuries and whiffed on some draft picks there

9ers just aren't a bully type team. They are good at what they do and have very talented players scattered around on both sides of the ball. They win via means other than overpowering their opposition.
The Rams, prior to losing AD were bully types. They don't have AD anymore.
This will be a very interesting year.

A bit like an old Seahawk team that got hosed a couple decades back.

The 49ers lose when Williams isn't healthy. He has already stated that he is willing to sit out real games if he doesn't get what he wants. That's not a very good way to start the season if you're a 49er. I can see that team imploding.
49ers 3-6 in games that Trent Williams didn't start.

Yes. And until someone decleats them, they will continue to be. I think it'll be us who does it, but we're another draft, or two, away.
I think their salary cap will do the work for us within another season...Purdy needs to be paid and everyone else has...something has to give
