As a whole, I believe the NFC East is slightly better as a division. The Eagles are a good team, but their schedule has been favorable so far. The AFC as a conference is more top heavy with the Bills being the #1 contender. The Bills have played one the toughest schedules so far and have been very consistent.
I'm not sold on the Jets.
IMO, the AFC has been more top heavy for years, though. With a select few teams that year in and year out have a shot at the Lombardi. So, I might be a bit biased. I just have vague memories of their seemingly being a different NFC champion every single year.
