Coach Frazier said Adrian Peterson was held out of practice today with a groin injury. Greg Jennings limited but expected to play.

Probably the same as Lynch not practicing. Dude is going to bring it on Sunday, just like he does every Sunday.

If AP doesn't play... holy crap is that going to be a slaughter. I'm with Absolute however, he'll be on the field.

I think there messing with us, Injury Report style, a page taken right out of the Pats weekly Injury report brain teasers.
Ponder or Cassell, AP sore groin, Erin Henderson DNP Illness and then FP Erin Henderson Illness. Just a thought, at 2-7 any pregame advantage helps. Although no matter what your going to gameplan AP. :thfight7: :thirishdrinkers:

AP will be on the field come Sunday, he doesn't sit out unless he's seriously injured. If he had two broken legs he'd want to play and be listed as probable.

Not sure what you mean. Frazier said they held him out of practice with a sore groin that won't affect his game status. It's not really messing with us to say he will play.

If he doesn't play it'll be a huge surprise to everyone. Vets like him have nothing to prove

AP was listed as probable on the Vikings report, which to mortal men means more than likely going to play. To AP it means put on your big boy pants, I'm bout to run over some foo's.

If he's probable, you can bank on him playing. We do the same with Marshawn. Nothing to see here.

A groin injury doesn't just go away though. It doesn't take much to do more damage, especially the way he runs.

They could have just said groin because they wanted to say something. Marshawn gets listed with knee, back, hip, ankle, etc. from week to week. Sherman was listed with a hip earlier, but confirmed that he was just given the day off.

They'd do well to hold AP out til they get work a trade this off season. Why play him? It's pointless at this point. Padding numbers shouldn't be a consideration. Getting 2 1s for AP should be one of their several off season priorities, IMO. AP's a Lambo in a trailer park. Get 'em outta' there, thinks me.

They're a QB away from being a decent team. No need to trade away your best asset when you're not incredibly far off and when he's still producing like he is.

AP is a freak but boy, 2 1s for a guy coming up on the 30 mark, that could turn really really ugly for the franchise that pulled the trigger on that if he hit that RB wall. AP has defied the odds in physical matters before, obviously, but man.
