His inaccuracy seems like the biggest concern.

But at times it seems fixable and he has perfect ball placement. I don't disagree though but he has almost no experience so if John took a dart throw on him I woudln't fault the process because his upside is massive.

Then you wouldn't draft anyone because they're all dart throws. Defensive lineman miss as often as quarterbacks do in the top 5. I think the upside is worth the risk for Richardson if John decides to go that route. If he doesn't then I trust him in that decision as well even if I lean quarterback early because of their situation.

Richardson doesn't look like he knows what he's doing half the time. He is far from the Mahomes, Allen, or even Jackson conversation in terms of polish. And we see with Jackson that developing touch, accuracy, and decision-making are not guarantees. So Richardson's ceiling may ultimately be a primary run threat that throws for 3000 yards.

I do think he's worth a gamble. I wouldn't touch him in round one, though. Not unless you are so confident in your development process that you want that 5th-year option.

I pretty much have to ask the same that I ask with Levis. Have you seen the highlights or have you seen the games? His highlights will blow you away. His games leave you thinking he needs at least a few more years or a genius QB coach to get him on the field and productive in year two. If you start him year one, you will risk ruining his upside with very bad habits. I hope we pass on him in the first unless we have Geno signed for two years. Then Richardson can sit, learn and start year three.

Zero chance I start him year one and I have watched more of his stuff than Levis. Sit behind geno? Would be an incredible spot for Seattle

He won't last past 20 from the reports I've read. He really should have stayed in school another year. Massive upside, with massive risk. Tough call.

So that would mean he wouldn't start until the '25 season. Who knows what this team will look like then. If he has to sit 2 years, then he's just too raw to use a first round pick on. I agree with others, he really needed to stay at Florida another year.

QB#1 Richardson
QB#2 Levis

The rest are scrubs. Give me one of those two at pick #5. Youtube link is great info from Matt Waldman.

Out first pick in round 1 would be too early to take him. Our next pick in round 1 would be too late. He'll be gone by then. John will have to do some wheeling and dealing if he wants this kid. I really like his upside though.

I could see us trading up with our 2nd 1st rd pick if that's who JS wants. Having him sit for a year or two behind Geno or Lock would be an ideal scenario.

I would take Richardson over Stroud ALL DAY.
Could you explain why? I get that Richardson has the stronger arm and he is faster, but Stroud is years ahead of Richardson for being a pure passer and running an offense. Stroud is only five months older than Richardson and does not need two years of polishing before he is ready to run an NFL offense.
