BUMP AND STACY -- Hour 3 - Ray Roberts on roster cut downs, his preseason standouts

Bump and Stacy hear from Ray Roberts to start off the third hour. What does he make of the Seahawks roster now that the majority of roster cuts have been made?

In NFL Headlines, are we entirely sure the Ravens and Lamar Jackson will get a contract extension done?

Hype Train finishes out the hour.

BUMP AND STACY -- Hour 1 - Did the M's pass an early playoff test? ALSO Sheil Kapadia of The Ringer!

The Guardians were a tough opponent for the Mariners, but Seattle still managed to take 3 of 4 from the central leaders. Did they pass a playoff test over the weekend? Bump and Stacy examine.

Sheil Kapadia of The Ringer joins the show to discuss the latest QB news across the NFL including Seattle's choice of Geno Smith and whether Jimmy Garoppolo could find his way to being the Seahawks' QB in 2022.

MIKE SALK -- Hour 3-Joe Fann, Salk's quarterback therapy session, NFL roster cut day

Joe Fann wrote an article on SeattleSports.com addressing how the signing of Julio means the Mariners are about to start the "payroll windfall" ... but is that true?

Salk asks Joe to explain the Jimmy G situation from his eyes but remains unconvinced. Now that the Seahawks have officially been ruled out of the big QB sweepstakes, Maura and Justin try to give him some QB therapy as we get Salk to say good-bye to the idea of Jimmy Garoppolo and embrace Geno Smith.

NFL Cut Day is here... what position group will you be looking at to see the remaining names first?

MIKE SALK -- Hour 4-Robert Turbin and Salk on why Julio's deal is great for this city

Julio Rodriguez is here to stay. A-Rod left. Griffey left, Russell left, the M's made sure that Julio isn't going anywhere and Salk explains how that helps repair broken trust.

Then, Robert Turbin joins the show to discuss Geno Smith winning the Seahawks starting quarterback job and Jimmy Garoppolo staying in San Francisco.

BROCK AND SALK -- Brock and Salk RETURN TO MORNINGS!

After nearly 3 years in podcast form, Brock & Salk announce their official return to the air beginning September 6th, 2022! Every morning from 6 to 10, Brock & Salk will return to Seattle Sports Station on 710 AM, and you'll still be able to find every episode on the podcast page at seattlesports.com!

Some old, some new...but 100% authentic Brock & Salk is coming back to your mornings.

The Mariners are in the throes of the Wildcard race--Brock & Salk pick their 5 most important players in the home stretch of the 2022 season.

Salk heard an interesting rumor about Jimmy Garappolo--could the Hawks be expecting Jimmy G to be their starter as early as week 1 if he gets cut next week?

WYMAN AND BOB -- Hour 4: El Hombre

El Hombre //

Deejay Dallas and Travis Homer did a lot to help their chances for more playing time during this preseason //

The Mariners are headed to Detroit, these are the games that worry Mariners fans, you have to win the easy ones and compete in the hard ones

On these I download the podcasts, then Fast Forward to the good stuff. like Baseballs Jeff Passan, and Brady Henderson. Both are great listens.

MIKE SALK -- Hour 2-Are the Mariners bats coming back to life? Jeff Passan (ESPN), Robert Turbin

Salk said a couple of times now that maybe a blowout win would spark the bats but it hasn't happened yet. With Ty France hitting the ball hard again if they can get Julio, France and Haniger going - you just need to get one more guy to have full confidence. Salk is glad JP is getting some rest, but who's going to play SS?

ESPN Senior MLB Insider Jeff Passan joins Salk for the first time since the Julio deal to discuss why it's so great and what it means for other players in the organization before Robert Turbin (in for Brock Huard) discusses cut-down day in the NFL & how rookies on the roster can have an impact.

MIKE SALK -- Hour 3-What are you most & least confident in w/ the Seahawks? Brady Henderson (ESPN)

Justin asks Salk - what are you most confident and least confident in when it comes to the Seahawks? Salk is most confident in the run game potential behind a new o-line and least confident that the QBs can win them a game in the final minutes.

ESPN's Brady Henderson discusses the 53-man roster cuts w/ Salk before Maura's new game "Choose the Shoes!" where we decide whose shoes you'd rather be in on a variety of sports topics.

BUMP AND STACY -- Hour 2 - Unpacking Pete Carroll's comments from roster cut down day

Pete Carroll had plenty to say about his team's roster following the NFL's cut down deadline, so Bump and Stacy dissect it all to start hour two.

In Four Down Territory, what type of season do the Seahawks need from Dee Eskridge in 2022?

On The Timeline, what's up with Jarred Kelenic's Instagram account?

BUMP AND STACY -- Hour 3 - If Pete Carroll & John Schneider succeed in this rebuild, what impact will that have on the rest of the NFL?

If the Seahawks have success in their next chapter following Russell Wilson's departure, what kind of impact would that have on the rest of the NFL? Bump and Stacy dive in to that question to start hour three.

Mike Vorel of The Seattle Times dials in to the show to preview the Huskies 2022 season opener vs. Kent State.
